PBC charity golf day

Thank you so much to everyone who attended the PBC charity golf day last Thursday at Rushden Golf Club.

The sun shone down and whilst there was a bit of a breeze, the weather was perfect.

All in all, we managed to raise around £1,800 for the Lighthouse Centre, which was a fantastic result.

Congratulations to Kingsley Roofers (Paul Bone, Dan Vernon and Martin Crooke), who were the winning team in their inaugural PBC golf day event. Following a complete brain fog by Nick Bonser when totting up the scores, the individual winner was Andrew Hasker with a respectful 40 points albeit, on the day, Dan Vernon was awarded the trophy who came second. Sorry about that and well done to both of you. Andrew, your trophy is on its way 😊

Thanks to Kara and Paul at Rushden Golf Club for a great day.

We really appreciated everyone’s support and hope you all had an enjoyable day.

PBC are pleased to announce that we are collecting for the Kettering Food Bank again this Christmas.

PBC are pleased to announce that we are collecting for the Kettering Food Bank again this Christmas in collaboration with @CFW Accountants and @AMC IT

Christmas isn’t a fun time for those who are struggling.  So, if you could add a few items to your shopping basket and call in to our Northampton office, say hello and drop them off we would be very grateful.

Suggested donations are shown on the flyer and all donations need to be with us by 11th December.

If you are local to Moulton Park, we can look to collect to make things easier

Thank you.

PBC charity golf day 2024

A great day was had by all at the PBC charity golf day yesterday, raising £1756.50 for the Lighthouse Centre.

The weather gods gave us all the 4 seasons in one day with a touch of hailstones in the afternoon just to top things off but overall, the weather was glorious, and it didn’t stop the teams from playing some excellent golf.

A massive thanks to all those that attended and supported a worthy local charity. With your support we can help fund the charity to continue its work helping those people with palliative care.

Winners:

Top scorer –Jonathan Newsham with 48 points
Highest scoring team –Bibbys
Charity Hole – Dermot Lally

Thanks to Rushden Golf Club for being such great hosts.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Provide a helping hand this Christmas

We have teamed together with two other Northamptonshire businesses, AMC IT and CFW Accountants to collect for Kettering foodbank leading up to the Christmas period.

We all know times are tough for many people and no family should be struggling to feed themselves at any time of the year, let alone Christmas.  It would be amazing if any of our contacts could spend a few more pounds when they do their weekly food shop to purchase some of the items listed.

These are essential items that are ALWAYS required but there’s no harm in going a step further and adding a treat in if you would like, although the essentials are the most important please.

All items donated should be dropped off between the hours of 8.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday to either CFW Accountants LLP, 3 Weekley Wood Close, Kettering, NN14 1UQ or to us at PBC Business Recovery & Insolvency, 9/10 Scirocco Close, Moulton Park, Northampton, NN3 6AP.

PBC World Cup sweepstake money goes to charity!
