Gary is both a licensed insolvency practitioner and CEDR accredited mediator and in January 2014 he acquired the business and assets of PBC Business Recovery and Insolvency.
Gary has been a member of Council at The Association of Business Recovery Professionals, was course director for the Smaller Practices Group annual conference for two years and has been a regular speaker on insolvency and mediation-related seminars.
He has also been advisor to the (then shadow government) Conservative party and at the request of George Osborne MP and been part of consultations for key areas, including the Government review of football governance, the Enterprise Bill and the review of on Corporate Governance, which started rolling out this year with the Corporate Insolvency & Governance Act 2020.
Gary is often consulted by solicitors and other insolvency practitioners with regards to insolvency related issues, including assistance on acquisitions, defending actions and providing advice surrounding various litigious matters.
On the recommendation of a (then) Queens Council Gary obtained his accreditation as a mediator and now holds office facilitating settlements of corporate disputes and insolvency-related claims.
