Gary Pettit, FABRP

Gary is both a licensed insolvency practitioner and CEDR accredited mediator and in January 2014 he acquired (what is now) PBC Business Recovery and Insolvency.

Gary has been a member of Council at The Association of Business Recovery Professionals and is a regular speaker at insolvency and mediation-related seminars.

He has also been advisor to various Government departments and party to consultations for key areas, including the Enterprise Bill, football governance and the review on Corporate Governance, which started rolling out this year with the Corporate Insolvency & Governance Act 2020.

On the recommendation of a (then) Queens Council Gary obtained his accreditation as a mediator and now holds office facilitating settlements of corporate disputes and insolvency-related claims.

In the (little) spare time he has Gary enjoys all sport, particularly rugby, golf and snooker. He is also a co-opted member of a tail-gating group supporting Minnesota Vikings American Football Team. His claims to sporting fame include missing the final black to beat Steve Davies and “Trying” to stop former England rugby star, Wade Dooley who goose-stepped rapidly towards a terrified full back!
